This is for cigarettes & alcohol.
When I was drinking & smoking and I didn’t believe I had a problem with alcohol I always believe that giving up cigarettes would be my main problem. The last 9½ months have proven that to me.
I rarely think about cigs, on the other hand I do think about alcohol. Not every minute of every day but it’s the in the back of my mind.
I go to a group on Sundays, there’s always alcohol there. I’m fine with that. It’s not my business what others put into their bodies. Yesterday I couldn’t go, I said I was too tired. I was indeed tired but my main problem was I wanted a drink. I bought several bars of chocolate & binge watched TV to compensate.
I’m just glad that I know my limitations & that I’m ok leaving/not going to an event if I’m not feeling strong enough.
