More reason for it to be there! ![]()
Yea I second that, calf was a breeze. I have both my feet done, one with finer lines and one more bold lines. The finer lines has faded a bit but the bold one still looks as it did when I got it. Bold will hold. Foot is not too sore from what I remember.
Yea that may look a bit off.
It would be a pretty hearty placement but what would be real cool is the roots on the top of your foot moving up toward the bulk of the tree on your shin… would be a tough one to sit through, but worth it.
This. Is. Hilarious!
I have a lateral calf tat and it’s easy to see & wasn’t too painfuI, I think… was still drinking back then.
Oh, and I have one on my sternum and it hurt like 3 kicks to the sack. Never again!
Cool ive never seen this. Looks like i have already sat straight thru some of the most painful spots but its worth it when the tattoos hold great meaning to me
Guy that made this tattoo said the bike will change into motorcycle one day. I’m waiting I don’t know anymore how long, 15 years? Still nothing. I guess I have to train my biceps harder.
Oh thats hilarious @poppyfairy
I love it, Alex ![]()

@Cjp This diagram is one of dozens available online, all of which vary for design to design. Also, it varies from person to person too! For me my back was one of the most painful places I’ve had worked on so far!
@poppyfairy If it never changes it’ll always be an eco-friendly mode of transportation ![]()

They’re all super cool. Your artist is indeed good in small detailed tattoos. Impressive.
Some time ago I wanted to have small portraits as well. Johnny Rotten and Joe Strummer… Unfortunately I was constantly broke that time (cigarettes, alco and insane amount of clothes to cover low self esteem was more important back then) so never had an extra money to finally do it.
All my tattoos are older than 10 and I’m not planning a new ones. Because of costs mostly.
Now you need a car on your other ![]()
“Life’s a gamble” is a badass phrase! ![]()

I really enjoy black and grey realism, if I hadn’t gone down the patchwork path with American traditional that would have been the style I would have chosen! I may still get a realistic rose one of these days.
I’ll pass on the compliments the next time I see him!
They do be expensive! But as it is some peoples livelihood it is understandable why it’s that way at least. Glad to hear you’ve reprioritized your spending!
If you do end up ever getting a new one I’d love to see ![]()
