Oh and it will! I grew up there. ~180 days that rain per year. Some years up to 200 inches cumulative. If you’re into mud & rust, definitely the place to be, I feel.

Well that was looking across Edinburgh from the concourse of Edinburgh castle. We’ve headed back down into England today, stopping at Lowther Castle in Cumbria, and now staying in a converted old post house / pub in Lancashire for the next two nights (sheltering from Storm Darragh) before heading home on Sunday.
