Thank u for the compliment! It baffles me honestly that I didnt die long ago or that I havent gone missing during some crazy nights when I was “working” (often alone at that). But even tho I didn’t believe in much at all back then, I know in my heart that something was watching over me. That was the proof for my belief in a HP when i came into recovery. I don’t often compare one story to another. We all struggle in our own ways. But I am very very lucky and am extremely grateful to be alive. It’s been one long long ass journey. But Im so blessed to be at 52 days today and absolutely grateful to be apart of such an amazing forum!

Just found this old photo on my phone, me a couple of days after being admitted to hospital with suspected stroke (it wasn’t but another health issue). Between a bad work situation and nightly drinking I was broken. I sent this photo to my family to reassure them I was OK. Unsurprisingly it didn’t work 
I was 38 in this photo and 41 now.
This is me tonight, after a bath (so no makeup and quite tired), but what a difference 
Didn’t seem a fair comparison to have one of me with makeup.
Here is one from this morning though, look at how my dark circles are going away!
