Wow Vanessa, it’s like you’ve come back from the dead! Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
This was such a great story. Thanks for the thoughtful post Jason! Congrats on your journey. As I hear in AA often “good start, keep it going”
Looking good! Congratulations!
Good to see you again!! Congrats on 140 days and I love the shirt
less is definitely more.
This. This right here. This has to be the most powerful testimony I have seen here. You just walked us through an extremely emotional, honest and open journey of your steps in and out and back in of recovery. A visual testimony that showed the light in your eyes growing, fading and shining again. I have absolutely broken out in chills and goosebumps. Thank you so much for sharing that. It had to have been difficult to be this openly honest. But it expresses both hope and a warning which every single one of us here needs. Bless you, luv, and thank you.
Thanks! I think the best message I have to share is that recovery path can get narrow and dark.
Our inner alcoholic is always lurking.
No matter how smart we are or how much we believe we will never drink again, it only takes a moment.
Life on life’s terms can change your outlook. Sobriety can go from feeling like the greatest gift you’ve ever had, to a feeling like a punishment.
I hope to never feel like recovery is a punishment ever again. It is a precious gift!
No way. Are you sure that’s the same person? Incredible Change! Never delete that photo!
Wonderful transformation! You should be so proud
