Almost looks like the pen and shadow are part of the drawing. I had to look a couple of times to be sure. And I wonder how it would have changed the drawing’s interpretation if it were part of the composition. Sort of like: the pen with its evil creation. It seems more hopeful, whimsical even!

I get something in my brain, pencil it out, then just go. Acrylics can be forgiving.
