Skincare, makeup, and all things beauty ❤

I just started using the CeraVe moisturizing cream in the jar this past week. I really like it except for one thing, which is odd, since I am switching from Amylactin. I don’t like the smell on me. To me it smelled like what I would expect Amylactin to smell like (but it never did) . I fixed it. My workaround, just used once so far, is to scoop some out and spray one light spray of my “perfume” essence on it.
I like it.
I do not like Cetaphil moisturizer, it is too greasy. I do like the face wash and have used it for 20 years or so. Sometime I will try the CeraVe face wash.

Cerave is fragrance free? There is no smell lol?

Don’t do that lol , that’s not ideal for your skin

The ingredients in a perfume essence is not ideal for your face.

Can you take a photo of the cerave moisturiser you bought and post it? None have a smell, literally fragrance free , so I’m interested to see what you bought??

I’ve only used it three times.

Wrong type

You got the cream , you need the lotion version.

There different. The lotion is the winner :trophy:

This version

The one you have, is heavier for body moisturiser not so much face.

Get the lotion pump pack.

No smell. And its much lighter

I am a chapstick nut and I found this website with some fun stuff. I think I need everything on it. There are these adorable chapstick tins and some of them have two different flavors, like what’s below.

I found it while looking for something I could keep in my car come summer that wouldn’t ooze all over the place.

This one totally takes me back, and honestly I’m temped to get it for my car:

Does anyone have any useful ways of keeping chapstick products in the car during the summer?

I’ve kept Aquaphor in the little tubes in the car in awful heat It has never seem to compromise the product.

@Chiron that’s all I use. It’s the best.

But it melts in heat. So if you in a car, and you squeeze the tube without paying attention, it can possibly be a disaster lol

@Alisa @apes2020 I will try both of these! Thank you! I’ve accidentally left chapstick in the car during the summer before and I was punished by the chapstick gods by finding it having oozed out all over the place. I figure if it’s in a tube or a tin, even if it melts, it won’t get all over the place. (I have a great hand lotion I keep in the car, and it’s in a tub-like container. It liquefies in the heat, but stays in its container. )

I usually have chapstick on me, but nothing is worse than being out and realizing I don’t have chapstick on me. I’m pretty sure I have, at the very least, 20 chapsticks floating around my house. If society ever collapses, I will hoard as many chapsticks as humanly possible. I might not be able to eat, but at least my lips won’t be dry.
