Slow and Steady

I am on day 10 and just woke from my first FULL night of sleep! I’m going to take it easy and enjoy the refreshed feeling for the next couple days. I’m still not ready to move out of my “walking on eggshells” phase and onto new things. I finally feel like I’m doing it though!
I started a vitamin B a few days ago and added a multi vitamin this morning. I’m also drinking a ton of water to help my body get balanced again. I didn’t want to commit to a diet and exercise routine yet because I’m taking changes slow. I also don’t want to gain any more weight so I am being mindful of carbs (except for fruit) until I feel like I can take on my pre-drinking routine again.
I am baby-ing myself pretty bad but I want to make sure I am being careful not to overwhelm myself with changes. Slow and steady is how I will win this race! Sprinting to the finish line with quit drinking, buy vegan protein powder, unprocessed fresh groceries, pull out my juicer and grab my calendar and schedule a workout routine… too much too soon for me and I have the resets to remind me!
I will not crash and burn this time! It’s okay to be me and take this as slowly as I need to

Thank you @Gibb! I’ll check it out!

Self care is the best care! With our use, we did nothing but damage to ourselves over and over. Good for you for turning it around!

Sounds like you’re using a really methodical, practical approach. Really glad to hear it’s working for you. I think exerting a sense of control to counteract the chaos is a great remedy
