So they don’t post the $10 book in the link to Australia and on the Smart recovery Australia website they have their own work book based off the 1 in the link but the rotten crooks are selling it for nearly $40! :angry:

I feel it’s important for me to focus my efforts right now. I have talked my addiction counselor into working the 6 levels and 13 statements of WFS with me, instead of the 12 steps of AA, so that’s where I’m putting my focus and effort. I am very curious about SMART, but I will save that for another time.

I did a little skimming through the website and it seems like the six levels and thirteen statements combine some aspects of AA and of SMART.

I’m glad you’re working with a recovery platform that is working for you!

Anyone want to share their experience with SMART and sobriety?

Personally I’ve been sober for over 1.5years.

Started with the Free worksheets before ordering the workbooks.

I love it because it gave me a sense of power. It reminded me that there were steps I could take to get my life back on track and that I was not in fact powerless.

I was able to set goals, change my thinking about drinking, transition smoothly into sober life etc.
