When I met hubby 10 years ago he was a long time season ticket holder for Oakland A’s. BART (train would pick us up 10 min from house and drop us off at A’s front door. Never experienced public transportation before but really liked it. Also an Amtrak train would go to Football games and all passengers were pretty much fans. That was fun too. Definitely hanging out with like minded people makes the journey enjoyable.

Drove up to Phoenix this morning for a meet/greet with Diamondbacks shortstop (and defacto team captain) Geraldo Perdomo.
Originally it was supposed to be autograph/picture with him but I think way more people showed up than they expected so they limited it to just autos in the interest of time. But I did get a pic while he was signing my Diamondbacks 25th anniversary print.
It didn’t register with me until just now, but he signed it right where shortstop plays

I’m going to opening day at the Jaguars versus Panthers game today. Leaving in about 30 minutes! I’ll definitely post some photos if I get any cool ones. I’m normally not good around too big of crowds but I’m bringing my 24 hours a day book and I just have to remember to breathe and eat food and drink water. Going to make the best of it and be grateful I’m even able to do this.. You can’t go to football games sitting behind a jail cell so anytime I get down or feel weird I think about the fact that I have freedom!
To be honest I don’t even really follow football I played baseball from T-ball all the way to high school but never really got into watching football too much. I understand the rules of the game but I don’t know the players or stats or anything really going on with trading or anything like that. Still I think it’ll be a cool experience.

I’m putting these drink packets in my shoe so I can save money because I’m assuming drinks are going to be outrageously priced so all I have to get his water! I’m bringing some snacks inside of a Ziploc bag which I think is allowed as long as it’s unopened and in the Ziploc bag.. They really have crack down on what you can bring into the stadium but I get it they Are trying to make money

If you start feeling Squirrley because of all of the alcohol you can reach out to me if you need to and I’ll do the same! But to be honest I’m not worried because for me alcohol never ends well and it’s not the same as other people drinking it because they’re going to get up and go to work tomorrow and if I drink I would be not going to work

We seem to have NY Giants Vs Washington Commanders on our TV live right now… I have absolutely no idea why, and it’s on a main channel as well.
