Trying to get all my gardens put up for winter. Saves a lot of $$ and living simple means I can work less right now. Was working on getting mint into dehydrators and was thinking how grateful I am to still be on this sober journey and how much things have changed since I started coming to this app 5 years agoā€¦

Itā€™s a stress fracture Eric. Did to much crossfit training than my feet could handle I guess :blush:
My doctor missed out on that so I walked for 4 weeks on that fracture.

At my age Iā€™m sticking to walking and hiking and my reformer if I want a gentle stretching workout.

I was deployed to Thailand x 2 in the late 90s and you could have booze there in theaters, too? I thought it was the best thing since the invent of the condomā€¦ though now that I think of it thatā€™s when my deliberate drinking really kicked in.

It really is just everywhere these days.

Before sober, in Santa Monica we walked out of a 10:30 am movie because the bar wasnā€™t open til 2 pm. Itā€™s amazing when you think back how much control booze had over me. It didnā€™t matter that we already paid for our tickets.
Stupid stupid stupid. Powerful stuff.
