Lovely shoes @Becsta
Thank you! Normally I go for pale or lighter colours but I just love these
Love the shoes - style and color
Have heard great reviews on asics- glad they are as comfortable as advertised…enjoy that run!
I get pretty excited over happy feet. Especially cool looking kicks. Nice
Update @JazzyS just did a 6km run and the shoes are fantastic!
Yes I’ve always heard good things about asics too but with a wide size 10/11 foot I always stuck to new balance. Was excitedly surprised how wide and comfy the asics were. Not sure what the sales guy thought about my gushing over them will report how they go after my run
Big ASICS fan! May you enjoy many speedy miles.
When I brought them home I saw they were asics ortholite - orthopaedic approved. My daughter had to laugh over that, I’m in denial that I’m 44 but now I’m confirming that I’m middle aged
I like those. Have we seen them before?
What are we watching?
I see you got some nice healthy nachos there.
I’m not sure if I’ve posted these. I can’t workout in them because they are too big with no compression. They are just around town leggings. I love movie nachos lol guilty pleasure
We saw Evil Dead Rise
I did it, went out for a short biking experience (40 mins). Did an immediate U turn as I smelled rain coming. Got my ass wet because the rain was faster than me Now I’m dry, lounging here with a big glass of water and watch the rain outside
Tried to force myself to relax for a few minutes
Minutes later: “just a few more little (lie) things to tidy up for now…”
Repeating loop since 2pm or so, after being on my feet nonstop since yesterday.
I had been looking forward to this game all day - only to look up and find 3 minutes left in the 4th, realizing I haven’t seen a fucking second of this damn game
ASICS are my favorite!!! What model are you sporting there? I’m coming up on needing a new pair.
Probably the most I’ve spent on a pair of runners, but I see it as an investment. Zero knee, ankle or back pain (my left knee was starting to develop a dull ache and my lower back sometimes got really sore with my old shoes). I’ve definitely been Asics converted
Yes! I’ve tried brooks, Nike and hoka. It wasn’t until I found ASICS that my knee and shin pain was fixed.
Do you know what type of stride you have? I’m a neutral. I go to the ASICS website and find the shoe I want and then go order if off Amazon. Makes it about $40-50 cheaper. My last pair was on sale and I think only $70
Ah that’s a smart idea! I’ll remember that for my next pair. I have big, wide feet so needed to try instore to suss the fit out properly. No, I’ve never found out what my stride is, my shoe soles seem to always wear fairly evenly so I may also have a neutral stride
Broo WTF is this .
