Iâm not a brooks fan at all. I tried them many years ago and then ago like 2 years ago and both times they gave me shin splints. I stick with asics
Really? I had exactly the same experience with Brooks! Was agony.
I have moved to Nike Vaporfly which Iâve got to say have been amazing for road running but I wouldnât go cross country in them. I choose the most outrageous colours when theyâre in the end of season sale because here in the uk theyâre ridiculously expensive otherwise.
I havenât tried nike. I use to use Mizuno and loved those and then I moved to asics. I always get my shoes on sale or get last yearâs models. I canât bring myself to spend more than $100 on shoes. The most recent pair I got for like $75 and the ones before were $40. I do have 1 pair of brooks for trail running. When I got into that last year I had so many people recommend Brooks for trails. I was really hesitant but they worked great for the rocky terrain.
When I get a new pair of shoes and I still love them after a month, I go online and get a duplicate pair.
Your future is so bright I gotta wear shades. Tee hee
I literally donât know of anything else you ever bought but I agree
Why??? Just why?
So how are they meant to help? Did they do what they were supposed to do?
So, this is what I saw and thought âOooh! Lotion socks for after my pedicure.â and threw them in my cart, kind of overlooking the word âsiliconeâ.
Come to find out, theyâre reusable! You soak your feet, lotion them up, and wear them as long as you like. Iâve used them a couple times and my worst calluses do feel softer (just checked ).
Notwithstanding the real risk of getting âtrench footâ, these would be great under walking socks if you had blisters on a really long hike I reckon. Or for forensics teams entering a crime scene.
Or for your protection if youâre planning to commit a barefoot crimeâŚ
Yes, or for sterile foot painting. Or summer wellies.
InterestingâŚI may have to look into them. Thanks for the post and the review.
