She looks like Jennifer Lawrence!
This big octopus was kind enough to take a sober selfie with me. I have met a lot of huge octopus this year. I have never seen as many as this year. I had never seen as many crabs as I did this year. Octopus love crab!
Sometimes there are five to ten traps in a row have nothing but empty crab shells and then you catch it. Sometimes you donātā¦They are amazing creatures. Iād rather not kill them but thatās a 150 dollar bill and skipper decides its fate. If it was up to me Id release them into the competitions gear. My previous employer needs some octopus bombs on his gear! I guess I still need to work on that resentment, Octopus bomb therapyā¦
If you have any unruly octopus in your life, message me. Iām a professional octopus wrestler. Iāll take care of it!
We are stacking our crab gear in three to four weeks. Iām getting close to finishing my third sober crab season. This year has been pretty easy not to drink. My co-workers and all their drug/alcohol related problems have helped drinking be very unattractive and helped me be grateful to not be trapped in that lifestyle anymore. I considered quitting commercial fishing because I didnāt think I could stay sober. Being sober has made me love it even more! Iām always on my A-game!
840 days since my final relapse!
Fucken aye Jason.
Always amazing to see you pop in.
Congrats on 840.
There she is!! The lovely lady in those rollerblades. What a pleasant surprise to see you Amalia.
Congratulations on your 90 days of awesomeness. You look so happy. Good for you.
But I was expecting red rollerblades. š¼
Thatās really cool dude. Good stuff
Lol thatās awesome. Iām actually really good on skates if itās a flat surface, but we have hills around every corner and I canāt do the whole drag my foot thing to slow down. So itās either bomb the hill and pray I donāt die or drag my foot and actually die. And thatās what happened the last time I was on skates had to slow down or I was going to hit the parked car at the bottom of the hill so I dragged my foot and ate the pavement so hard, havenāt touched them since lmao. But it is such a fun experience and exercise
Thanks @Dazercat. The wheels Iām wearing here are on their last legsā¦(see what I did there?) They are just a beginner pair.
My next pair will most certainly be red, but I have to save up for them. But I have a job now, so Iāll keep you posted on the red skates!! š¼
Owch!!
Yeah, Iāve had a few bad falls, dislocated my shoulder but havenāt broken anything thank goodness. Iām terrible at stopping too so I get my mates to check the path before I go down. Quite often thereās sand which is nasty if you are flying along.
I live in a hilly area too so I travel to skate but worth it.
I reckon you should grab those skates out and give it another go! So much fun!!
Do you wear quads or inlines?
Yes my girls have skates for this summer so I was thinking about it. I use incline skates, never tried quads
I love this picture! U look so free!
Iām the opposite, but as I prefer to skate outdoors, my skate mates are trying to convert me to inlines but Iām stubbornly sticking with the quads! Harder for outdoor, but I love them š¼
Thank you. Yes, this is definitely my happy place š¼
Congrats on your 90 days,
Iām the opposite I can rollerblade like a champ but traditional skates, yeah about that,
I went to a roller rink. And my stopping power was the wall the floor and other people, the girl I went there with tried helping me by holding my hand to get better at stopping, weāll stopping was me taking her into the wall. And checking her hockey style. Last skating go
Congratulations on 10 days and getting to a meeting
I feel ya, even though we know itās better to forgive than to be forgiven.
Thank you
Nice to meet you Mary.
I hope the AA meeting was good.
Stopping is hard! It never used to be when I was a kid, no fear maybe. I just do a gradual slow down stop and am limited in the tricks department, but just love doing a long distance skate. Iām doing one again tomorrow in fact! Woohoooooo!
Hope you get back out there. Itās such a freeing sport. Good for the soul
