Don’t often do selfies but that’s me and my dad with my step mum earlier today, nothing special about that.
Apart from the fact last time I was in that house was 37 years ago bc of my attitude and alcohol. Sobriety is not something to keep to ourselves. At 75 years old my dad got an amends and some closure. We spoke for hours as if it was something we did every week.
Lovely day all round.

I actually wrote him a letter of amends just before Xmas and we spoke on the phone Xmas day but it was said we should stay in contact so there I am. Next time I’ll hopefully take my kids as they are mid 20s now and never met each other. Isn’t sobriety wonderful.
