A year ago today I got the phone call that changed my life forever. At the time I took the news with a grain of salt and continued to go on a four month bender drinking harder than I ever had before. I thought I was going to die and would not be here today if I hadn’t stopped. Cirrhosis is now part of my life but it does not control my life. Today, I am happy and healthy. I turned my life around in eight months time. I was in such a dark place a year ago I wanted to kill myself by drinking. Today death no longer scares me. It is possible guys. Stay true to yourself and stay positive
