Good morning sober friends! Hope everyone has a fantastic sober day!
Same in south Louisiana. Anything below 80F is considered chilly.
Yes I had to get a sweater lol
I’m not sure we got it above 80 in the summer in the north of Ireland 
Wow I never realized it was so cool there. 
Here in Southern California 60°F is a cold snap. We’re such weather wimps! 
It never gets that warm here but is always never gets that cold either although it’ll be like the North Pole for you
That’s what it is here today and that’s mild for this time of year
I used the energy of the full moon on October 6th & 7th to release what was no longer aligning with me. 
It helped that the Universe sent me some clear signals. 
The rest of this week is all about taking what I released and transforming it into courage. I’m using that energy to fuel me. 
I looked into city resources and newly available resources through my employer. I’m also going to take advantage of my employer’s EAP services. Something that I used when I first got sober. I will never forget the kindness the counselor showed me. 
Tearing up just thinking about it. 
Although this is nothing new, I have made sure to move my body. Lifting heavy and, as the young kids say, “keeping my foot on they neck”. I believe it means maintaining control? 
Either way, I’m ready to close out the year strong.

Today is a great day of pride. I’ve been an Irish citizen since birth but never got any formal proof/passport. That’s done with now. Took me over a year to get through the process. I have always felt more Irish than American, more similar to my Irish family. This little book is extremely meaningful to me.
I knew I was free to live/work in Ireland, and the passport would make travel to the rest of the EU easier. I did not realize it also allows me to live/work anywhere in the EU, as well as the UK. This is the only passport with both. That’s a lot of personal freedom and I am grateful for it. Given current events, these are invaluable options.

I’d cry my eyes violet, Elizabeth Taylor ,” all day.
My wife and kids have dual citizenship, and yeah, it took years. They started before COVID and just got their passports last year. Now they are Polish citizens and therefore citizens of the EU as well!
