I’m going camping for the first time with my boyfriend and our dog the last week of August-to the adirondacks we go! I’m always up for trying new things but I am nervous lol so if you have any tips to make it more relaxing I’m all ears!

You are gonna have so much fun! Are you staying in tents? Bring a fan if so lol it can get hot in those suckers! Bug sprays a must and sunscreen. Lots of comfy clothes and a bathing suits oh and towels! I hate not having my beach towel lol it’s happened several times. Bring a sweatshirt for night it can get cool. Enjoy your trip! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Sorry to butt in but… Hotels are nice. 
That would be my tip.
I use to love camping. But my camping days are over.
I did like to bring a foam pad to put my sleeping bag on. Pocket flashlight for those night time trips to the out house. Plenty of water. Have fun

I have been great here! The trip has been wonderful. We went to 2 caverns, the summit here at massanutten via chairlift, swimming, and a bunch of other stuff. Definitely my favorite vacation to date!
