Look who joined this thread!
So nice to see you again here Mandi
How has life been? You look happy
Keep raising yourself up and being the amazing person you are love! Glad you figured that out very early on, I feel like these things come in to give us an opportunity to grow, set boundaries and to keep reinforcing us living the life we are worthy of living. Well done!
You know pretty quickly though, right, about your date,!
I pop in randomly from time to time but I don’t make it into many threads so I’m always happy when I do and get to see what you are all up to these days!
Life is good! Working my recovery and doing well but occasionally I feel like I haven’t made enough progress toward where I want to be. When I look back at these pictures and remember what my life was like then and see what it is like now I am reminded of how far I have come. Life gets quickly put back into perspective again. Progress not perfection!
I get the same feeling sometimes and then I get sad.
But: maybe we’re in the exact right spot at the exact right time? This question helps me to learn to live in the present.
Progress, not perfection: exactly
is that your covid hair cut

Thnx so much for being here… That goes for all who where here when I was just starting to understand the implications of getting clean.
@MandiH thank you so much, what I like best…
My emotional calmth. I am stable in my mind more then ever I. The Just for today from yesterday was perfect for me, “how to deal with the impossible persons in your life” and now I can receive criticisms as is, it won’t go straight to my emotions I have time to decide what should I do with this… And that’s not always offcourse cause nobody’s perfect right hahahaha.
Well that and the fellowship in NA I have gained friends and guru’s for training to deal with whatever my character throws my way.
I am able to wear a light makeup again after 25 days of glutenfree diet! My skin tolerates it Happyhappyhappy!
Have a happy friday folks!
Get it man 4 hundo coming soon!
Looking radiant, Donna
My greatest accomplishment is having custody of my two boys considering I almost lost them to social services. The most rewarding thing for me is working as a recovery coach and helping others in addiction and the charity fundraising work I do
Thank you, Em!
Definitely. Ordered some battle ropes for the gym today, and ordering a new belt my my next check. I want one of those quick lock belts
