Took the day off from work today and long overdue. Did some stretching, yoga in the morning and replaced our shower manifold today - looks much better and no more dripping water! Just chillin for the rest of the night.

He’s doing ok, thanks Donna. Getting back to himself, slowly but surely. He brought me one of his toys to try and play earlier today, first time since the surgery he’s tried to. Unfortunately still has another 10 days or so to wait until we can do that! Got an ice cream thawing for him right now. He’ll like that.
Been spitting out his meds like a champ, too 
but glad he is acting more like himself.

@anon79808082 I also wondered today…are the “snow days” that we knew and loved as children a thing of the past?
Now that remote learning infrastructure is largely in place, and has shown to be a feasible temporary option, is the traditional snow day gone for good?
Thought of it this morning while watching the news, keeping an eye on the school closures ticker at the bottom…only there was no “2 hour delays” or “closed”…all just said “remote learning day”. I didnt expect closures for 2" of powder but it did get me thinking.
If so, that sucks. There was very little that could compare to the joy of waking up to a snow day. Bonus if it was a monday or friday, OR if you got the rare double-dipper for a major blizzard. I still watch the ticker on the news for my hometown, and I’ve been out of school/haven’t lived there for 14 years!
