Sober Selfies #7 (shirts required please)

Thanks!

Yes, classic American tv quiz show. Good for keeping my useless knowledge sharp, and learn new things too. 3 contestants, 2 rounds of 6 or 7 general knowledge categories with clues of various difficulty and corresponding dollar value. It’s on every night here. Winner plays again the next day against 2 new challengers.

The beloved host, Alex Trebek, just passed away recently after hosting the show for 35 years or so. So right now its kind of weird to watch it without him, but they will establish a permanent replacement host soon.

Thanks. It requires no effort at all, ha! Go to bed with it damp, wake up, run my hand through it once or twice, and voila.

I use to love watching jepordy when I was a kid. The only show we have now that is hard trivia is who wants to be a millionaire. I love a good brain rattle to get the brain juices going ! :trophy::joy::tada:

Wait for a few weeks and you’ll really feel your breathing change with no ciggies. When I quit I couldn’t believe how out of breath I got prior. Its like my lungs have expanded now.

Day 151,not pyamas. Maybe I can make it fancy and call it lounge wear. Soft pants, pink Tshirt, popcorn sweater. And no piercing, I took it out. I’ve had it over 10 years, It doesn’t feel like me anymore. I’m not that person anymore :cherry_blossom: And I feel really good about it.

You look satisfied! I like making those kinds of choices. Have been trying to decide when to cut my hair that I’ve been growing for 5 years. I think maybe when I reach a year sober?

Sounds like a great goal, I’ve sworn not to cut my hair ever again except for trimming the edges, after my drunk meltdown shaved pixie last December. A new haircut/hairstyle can do so much for how you feel.
I feel pretty satisfied, It feels like I’m more free without certain things.

Thank you, the same to you :cherry_blossom:

I used to watch it with my Nana as a little kid when I stayed there in the summers sometimes. That’s what got me into it. I remember being blown away by the stuff she knew.

She’s been gone over 10 years now, but I like to think if she were here, I could give her some good competition these days
