Socks or no socks in bed?

So it’s been a while since I started a topic (if I’m not mistaken my last one was a TMI about my monster cyst). And I thought it would be cool to talk about our little individual quirks. A very specific quirk.

The other night I stayed up late working and when I finally got into bed I was absolutely exhausted. But despite the tiredness and the melatonin and the chamomile tea and, did I mention I was exhausted??, I just couldn’t sleep. I was mildly uncomfortable and then it hit me; socks! I was not wearing socks (heatwave, I basically live in flip flops and sandals). So I got outta bed, put socks on, and within minutes I was snoring like a pug (as in the dog, not the bacon).

My husband, on the other hand, cannot stand wearing socks while sleeping. He thinks I’m weird, I think he’s weird.

Now… the question begs. Socks or no socks?

I need free bare happy feet or I can’t sleep.
If it’s cold I’ve tried socks. Can’t sleep. Fun topic.
Thanks. Maybe it’s a guy girl thing.

No socks in summer and spring…
Happy naked feet!

Big fat socks in winter…
Use to sleep in very cold bedrooms.

When I lived in a cold climate I liked socks when first going to bed, then would take them off later. Now, living in a more temperate climate, no socks for me.

No socks, unless i’m hiking, then nothing better than a fresh pair of moreno wool socks while cuddled up in my hammock.

No socks. Ever.
I’ll poke my feet out of the quilt to make sure they’re cool. Even in winter

No socks, except when camping!

Fun topic, thank you

Edit to add: I always like running the covers between my toes. Also, I can always tell when I am ready for bed as I start rubbing my feet together.

No way, if you poke your feet outside the quilt there might be monsters that bites them.

Yep, my brain still thinks like that. I sleep like Garfield

No socks for the most part for me but when it’s really cold I like a nice fluffy loose pair on. Usually kick’em off in the night though. Some of these answers are making me chuckle…… great topic :pray:t2::two_hearts::smiling_face:

I’m more concerned about the monster that can grab my leg when at night I go back upstairs to my bedroom from wc. Man, what a sprint I’m making

And my answer is absolutely no socks in bed.

I can’t wear socks in bed.ive had 5 total hip replacements and it’s left me with restless leg syndrome among other crap so socks make it worse. Lol

After I saw Jaws when I was a kid I used to think he was going to come out from under my bed and chomp my feet off. I would do these superman dives onto my bed so I could keep my feet. :joy:

No socks!!! I have fallen asleep with socks on when I was simply exhausted or passing out in a blackout but typically my feet need to be free!!
I’m also one of those people that have to have one leg outside the cover :joy:

NOOOO SOCKS!! :joy: I’m very passionate about this lol. I need bare feet, and my jammies can’t have a cuffed ankle. My feet and legs need air. And I can’t have both legs under blanket. I need at least one leg out. It’s a weighted blanked so I often hurt my back trying to adjust my legs
