Just make it until midnight. Get up tomorrow and make it until midnight.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I stopped and started for most of 24 years. Today is 8 years, 10 months and 11 days. At midnight I can start on 8:10:12, but I have to make it until midnight.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

One minute at a time, one hour, one day. You can do hard things! Find other things to bring you joy and emerge yourself in this wonderful and exciting life. For me it’s running, knitting, reading, eating and spending time with family. Most importantly, do this for you and every time you hit a roadblock remind yourself that you are worth it.

don’t give up on yourself. I’m at nearly 8 months again after relapsing this time last year, and I had a few resets before I could keep sober this long again. I just kept trying, like you

Do not try to beat a record. It is a question of one day, one hour. Step by step. Records are for professional sport people. Here, we are fighting for our lives, just now and here. There is not place further. There is no more future than now.
