Unity is Pat Dubar (uniform choice) first band, same vibe. Their EP is gold, I really like their album Blood Days too. Old school straight edge

I’ve always told my older daughter about the straight edge way when she grew up. Told her she doesn’t HAVE to drink, doesn’t HAVE to get wasted with her friends at parties, that she doesn’t need to conform…and to this day she never tried alcohol or any drug. She tells me about the parties she goes, how wild this is, how she feels alone in the crowd around midnight when everyone is high or/and drunk. She’s almost 18, I’m proud of her, no matter what path she’ll chose to follow in the future.
I was the same at that age, mainly because of the music and some…rebel attitude 
, of course i blew everything after, but it helped me a lot again later.
