So first I did 37 days without a drink, stress got the better of me then I did 17 days without again because if stress. Today I am on day 2, little bit ansxious and sweating a lot. How do I over cone the stress? It was an argument over a plastic bag in a supermarket with my oh that stressed me out.
Were you working any type of program? AA, SMART, outpatient?

We all go through stress. Hell I’ve gotten pissee off about a candy bar and went stone cold with my wife, but instead of picking up a drink I went to a meeting and talked about it, listened to others and you know what, I was relieved of the burden of thinking I’m the only thing that matters in this world. Promptly made amends with my wife and all was forgiven.
You’ve put together a few periods of sobriety doing it your way, perhaps a more actionable program like IOP group therapy, SMART recovery or AA can take you further and help you learn to handle lifes frustrations without taking the easy way out.
Finding better coping mechanisms is probably your best bet
