Hello. Im new here..Im joining this app after a relapse, of 3yrs 8 months sober.

Incredibly disappointed in myself. Hoping supportgroups will help me stay focused.

Welcome Ali! Glad u found us! Im sorry to hear about ur relapse :frowning: I too relapsed at around 3 years clean and sober (this was in 2014). It felt super disappointing for sure, but try not to let it bring u down. Addiction wants us to feel shame and guilt. In sobriety we focus on the present moment. All we have is today! Plus… u havent lost everything uv learned over those 3.8 years. So use that knowledge and pick urself up again :slight_smile: Hope to see u posting more! :dizzy:

Hi @Aquapixe ! Well done for getting back at it. I’m so glad you found us. This place is my main sober support, I come here everyday. Lean on us… we all understand where you’re at and if we do this together we are stronger for it. It’s great to have you here, well done on 3 days! Thank you. I know..but..im working on it. Iv been trying to stay busy, stop doom scrolling and spending my time in my happy place, in my hulahoop.

No I have no way of attending. Im looking into NAMI online. I could definitely use the ppl connection as im incredibly isolated as I lost my ability to drive.
