All the other people suggested would make better mods. I’d be banning racists as soon as they popped up.

Oh wow, thank you for thinking of me. My job is about to go from virtual to in person again which I expect to be intense and I don’t think I’d be able to be a responsive moderator but I really appreciate the thought.

Awww, thanks Dan, but I’m still at the hardware store these days - shopping to add to my own toolbox. Then there’s the fact that a large part of my job requires me to argue a point to death - and my ex-husband would tell you I’m really quite good at it.

@Englishd Derek since he’s already said he’d be interested, I would really like to see him in that role, I bet he would literally kick a lot of ass but also do a lot of good!

Hey you guys, thank you @DarrenUK, @Jennajen @RosaCanDo! I feel absolutely honoured to be in anyone’s consideration (totally bragged to my bf about this today, yeyy!) and part of me would be up for it - however. I absolutely lack the emotional balancedness and neutrality to act with such circumspection and … cool as is required and as I’ve seen our current mods team do. I am team tough love. I get overengaged still far too often. also I write way too much. to make this short, others are better equipped! maybe one day. thanks!

wouldn’t want to do it even if I did. I don’t want to decide who’s opinion is more acceptable. I wrote a load of light hearted posts on a thread of people arguing and mine were the ones that got moved 
I can’t compete with that logic.
