Thank you for this place

As I’m scrolling down different threads, I’m realising how big this is. I love this place. It’s always been my safe place whenever I felt down and in need to share my feelings. I knew that I’d find understanding from this community, because we are all here from the same reason and for the same purpose.
Today I have a feeling of unity. It’s something magical about seeing so many different people from all around the world gathering at one place and beeing vulnerable in sharing their deepest trueth. I always feel a strange connection with people who went, or are still going through addiction of any kind. I feel need to help.
I’d like to thank for this place. It’s awesome to belong…

You are welcome. I was here at the beginning of your journey being that I started reading in June 2019 although I didn’t become an official member until something like March 2021 I’ve always had lots of admiration for you and how you’ve taken on what you’ve needed to take on and how you have always realized How and where you needed to improve what you were doing. You have given lessons to all of us the way you’ve gone about it.

It’s interesting that the nicest things about me I get to read either from my boyfriend or here. That’s how close some of you people are  Thank you very much for these beautiful words. They warmed my heart a lot… :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Glad you joined us @akirra

@Jana1988 it is a wonderful place. Most come here feeling broken and lost and come away feeling like they have the support of an extended family.

Ditto @Jana1988. I describe it as social media where we are running together not against each other. I’m grateful to be here and I’m grateful you are too.

I totally agree. Even today after more than 1800 days i still love this community for the people, the openess, the stories, the personal fights and victories, the daily struggles, the real life issues. It lets me think about these things much more than in the past and i have learnt a lot, even besides the obvious reasons why everybody initially joins. Thank you TS!
