Need to get some more pike place medium roast. This is only my maybe 4th cup today. It was definitely time for another cup and this time a regular size mug
And this time just black coffee

Good morning sober friends! I haven’t been on for a little while but thought I’d check in somewhere and here looked good lol
. Well I have updated to the pod world
. I got this little cute red Keurig for Christmas so I thought I’d use it. Turns out I drank about 20 cups of coffee
in just a few day’s. I was also missing my Folgers or Maxwell House Columbian blend so I got myself this little purple
pod and some tiny pod filters and some Folgers. I just opened the Maxwell House and it’s great as well. I really like this purple pod. It’s eco friendly and cost efficient. That little machine makes a cup of coffee in a minute flat. But anyways hope y’all have a great day here in the coffee
shop ![]()
@JazzyS I’m doing alright thank you for asking. Just been really busy in my mom vibe with the kids being off for Christmas then trying to get this place back in order for the past 2 weeks lol. Thought I’d take a break today and check in ![]()
Recently opened the freezer at hubby”s work home and saw a bottle of Honey Jack Daniel’s. I thought I was going to vomit right there. Not a good memory of drinking at all. So glad the desire to repeat such alcoholic behaviors are non existent. Have a wonderful day!
Happy Sunday ! Hope everyone has a great day or night wherever you are!
Working on cup number 2 right now! Looks like a home projects day or movies for me..
Reusable pods is how I make my coffee - with my brewer I can adjust the strength as well as the size.
Quick corporate tale involving a local Vermont company. Green Mountain Coffee Roasters was a small, regional coffee roaster based in Vermont. In the mid 90s, they started investing in Keurig, which did not have their first production models sold until 1998. In 2006, Keurig was fully acquired by Green Mountain, which then got acquired by Dr. Pepper and it’s all corporate inbreeding now. It was a blow to our strong pride in local roots here, when Green Mountain was sold to Dr. Pepper and Ben and Jerry’s was sold to Unilever.
My boss drinks Starbucks coffee and he had some dark roast espresso by Starbucks that was really good.
Thats an awesome piece!
