11 o’clock (well actually it’s 11:45 but it still counts) first iced coffee for the season, outdoors in the sun. 
I love the quiet of the morning. The only sounds are people leaving for work in the communal hallway, the diggers starting up impossible early for the HS2 route, traffic and two very eager kitten pups. Actually, that’s pretty noisy, but reassuring.

Chamomille tea, using my Dad’s teaspoon THAT HE BROUGHT FROM HOME (which was 2,500mi away at the time) when he visited last year and left it behind

Tomorrow I get a new coffee maker delivered! I have Friday off and am so excited for my first cup. No spoilers. I saw a coffee maker on here 2+ years ago and thought it was the most beautiful thing. My $20 Black and Decker drip workhouse is getting put out to pasture. Stay tuned readers…
