I just saw why they took away the second Egypt goal. Are you fucking kidding me!!! There’s penalties and fouls like that all day long that don’t get called. And they call that back. Get rid of that VRA. Unless it’s used for goals only. I call.

It’s really turned a football game into a kinda Smackdown show, where the makeup is real, the popcorn is hot and sugary… yet the fights aren’t real fights! It’s a puppet, they cried!
Well fuck, how can we exist in this duplicity? Isn’t this exactly what VAR kind of was meant to be: extra transparency, application of rules and safeguarding? Yeah, as long as you are on the list of the ‘elite’. Gahhh.

Three of these matches excite me, and the Argentina Switzerland one not so much… Zzzzzzzz. Thankfully, it’s the only one not anywhere near my time zone tolerance. To be fair I go to bed at 8.30/9pm and up around 5/5.30am so part of me will be glad when this time zone roulette is over

No match for the first time in…2 weeks?
I had to take a break for a few days, although I caught bits and pieces. Hated to miss some big matches, but I needed comfort movies for a few days, not high stakes football. Have learned to listen to those feelings over the years.
I watched “Jaws” 5 times in like 2-3 days
