The Stupid Polls thread (Part 1)

This conversation was clearly meant to be! Is it a set (you said DVDs and not DVD) or did you buy a bunch of his movies?

Yeah I was about to say there’s two of them,

I’m a fan of old school tech I like having physical media,
Oh plus with the influx of digital demand you can buy DVDs often at a buck a pop

Same here. I’m not a huge movie buff, but the ones I really like, I own physically. If I bought it, I want to have it. Same with music (or perhaps I should say “more so” with music), I still have cassette tapes, CDs, and vinyl. In fact, I just came home yesterday with 5 new CDs and a couple of old Christmas records I got for practically nothing. Like you said, with people buying a lot of things digitally, you can get the physical copies pretty cheap–and in the case of CDs, the sound quality is just better in a lot of ways than digital.

Soooooo goooooooox

Haven’t had one of those in years. May need to get some.

The lie is worse than the short stature. Freaking fabulous way to start out a possible new relationship. From the man’s perspective I’m told women often use (much) younger pictures. Again…ya think that won’t be picked up on?:rofl:

I usually have pop tarts, quick breakfast with coffee, I’ve never seen that flavor!

Ever considered that i was an honest 5.10 and years of hard labor has me much shorter but i habe no idea so i go with whats on my drivers license?

I’m barely 5’ and heels hurt my feet, so I would definitely choose taller! My spouse is short so he might not like it. Lol :unicorn:

There should be a third option that says, “It’s always changing”.

Is pounds of butter code for something? Why would people put butter in their freezer? I’m intrigued :joy: oh and i couldn’t vote as i have neither in my freezer

@Becsta
Can be really useful for folks who make their own butter.

I was also wondering the same thing. I have never heard of butter in the freezer. Thanks Rosa for the info!

I once had a friend give me a huge batch of butter from a local dairy that they needed off their hands since they were moving. That’s when I learned about freezing it! Lovely stuff, too.

I was reading about that! Fascinating stuff.

Havent tried it yet, but with the sticker shock I just faced with the price of butter…i might be making my own and canning it.

It’s so easy to make! I’ve only done it once but it was fun.
