The Stupid Polls thread (Part 1)

Glad to hear; I’ve been told most of my life it’s going to cause arthritis

That’s a total myth, fortunately.

My hubby hates it so I try not to do it around him. Unless he’s snoring, then I should do it by his ear :joy:

What do you like on your battered fish if you only had one option?

  • Tartar sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Vinegar
  • Nothing
  • I don’t eat this

Ooh I’m now going to go and get some good British fish and chips for my tea/dinner. Thanks. :+1::slightly_smiling_face:
You should have included a mushy peas option for us Brits :joy::+1::slightly_smiling_face:

Sarayo. Sarayo for everything.

Is that like a morph of sriracha & mayo? If so, why isn’t it called sriyao? I’m a spice wimp so I likely couldn’t handle it :joy:

I know a coastal backpacking trail where doing your business in the sand is encouraged over making an inland cat hole. So the tides wash it out. Food for thought during walks on the beach there.

And I must say… it’s weirdly tranquil.

Are they made with fresh/frozen peas? Or canned? Or do they come pre-made? Never had…

I’m not sure, I hadn’t every actually tried them nor would I as they look gross.
Edit - I just googled, you add salt and butter to garden peas, cook for ten minutes and mush them up. It’s a gross thing that only the British seem to eat! :joy::+1::slightly_smiling_face:

Aren’t you British? :joy:

In Newfoundland, pease pudding is popular
“Pease pudding, also known as pease porridge, is a savoury pudding dish made of boiled legumes, typically split yellow peas, with water, salt, and spices, and often cooked with a bacon or ham joint.”

Yes buy I won’t eat that crap, I’ll smoke heroin but mushy peas I find gross, go figure :joy::slightly_smiling_face:

I’d have the bacin or ham joint just not the rest. I’m a funny eater for example I can’t have mayonnaise, I quite like the taste but can’t eat it because it’s white on colour. I’m strange! :slightly_smiling_face:

Lol I’d challenge you to eat it, but sounds like that’s a lost cause

Not stopping, and dying.

It is, and it just is what it is.

It’s not super spicy, just delicious.
