I just started going to AA meetings Wednesday and have been to two so far. I’m serious about sobriety. First time ever, found a full bottle of vodka in one of my hiding places and dumped it and threw it away! I’m proud of myself but didn’t tell my husband due to shame that I still have.

I know that shame. There are so many things that I’ll never share. I feel like they are my burden to bear… Good job on tossing the vodka. It feels good to throw that shit out!!
