Hello all! I am currently working on becoming sober. I have used for going on 8 years and am so tired of this lifestyle. I have lost a home because of my usage and i really want to turn my life around. Im hoping by joining groups and following along others progress that i can push myself even harder to quit. I look forward to engaging with you all, & thank you in advance for any kind word’s or suggestions you all may have :heart:

If you are ready to give up all the misery of addiction, you have found a new family here :heart: share your day count on the checking in thread and watch the love roll in. Ive posted when im panicking and surrounded by my DOC and these folks told me what I needed to hear, within 2 minutes. It gets hard, it does, so lean on us, post before you pick up!

Well Hello there Beautiful Butterfly :butterfly:. I can ASSURE you that your in the right spot by being here. We all have walked in a similar path. Please connect with people here, check in, and reach out for support when you need it. It wasn’t to long ago i was in your situation. And now i have almost 7 years clean. :blush: You can do this! And you will get through it, i promise you. The beginning days will be difficult but it only gets better after. I’m here for you if you need to talk, vent, whatever… Like others said, connect to who your comfortable with. We’re all a family here, and we will support you. :folded_hands:
