This times different

Getting a bit down and out, I continue to convince myself one more time. Anyway positive vibes…I’ve got this, more strategies implemented, I can do it

You can do it. What strategies are you implementing?

You can do this.

Have you read the AA Big Book? It’s helping me… A lot!

One day at a time. Good on you for not giving up, being sober will bring you more satisfaction and joy than drinking ever will :pray: wishing you all the best.

It took a lot to get me sober, including unsolicited help from the Department of Corrections. I used AA, individual counseling, and Antabuse aside from the DOC intensive outpatient and the DOC required breath checks.

I get a little frosted when I hear “I’ve got this” or “I can do this”. Truth is, I don’t think anyone has ever done this on their own - we’ve all had tremendous amounts of help. What is required, from the individual, is a radical commitment to sobriety, a demonstrated willingness to try anything and everything to get and stay sober.

Blessings on your house

You said something I have been told over and over, that no one does this alone. I’m still figuring that out. Thank you for saying it.
