Today I turned 32! Didn’t do anything super special, but I got two free Dutch Bros (coffee place) and made some money by going to work! Lol. Tomorrow my recovery house is paying for everyone to go have pizza and go bowling, which I think is really awesome and kind. Just wanted to say birthdays can be simple and sober and with that I’ll take another 24!

Specifically, I live in an Oxford House.
“Oxford House is a concept in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In its simplest form, an Oxford House describes a democratically run, self-supporting and drug free home.”
Basically, it’s a group of people who live together and follow guidelines to support positive economic and recovery values with a structure that prevents relapse. It’s really great the rent is cheap and my house is beautiful! 10 of us live here, but there are 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so it’s not like we’re on top of each other.
