Spent three days riding along the Dutch - German border for my 60th birthday. Had terrific fun. Love this bike and what I can do with it so much. Here’s to many more adventures like this!
So glad I got out today and rode, despite it being doomy and gloomy all day long. Also very happy with my commute/hybrid bike after getting big service by my bike guy. One of the reasons I switched bike shops was that one of the mechanics in the previous one said that after five years a bike was a write off and I should get a new one. BS. This one is now 5 or 6 years old. It did need some serious TLC but now it’s so smooth again 
This is impressive cycling Mno. Your bike is so much like mine. Mine is in storage at my cousins house until I can get a shed built to keep it at home.
Your engine may need a tune up every 5-6 years 
Cold day but sunny. Happy I got out and did a -by now traditional- ride of visiting Luna’s grave and getting some good groceries from across town.

Riding due East into Germany. Meeting a TS member in their own town on Wednesday. Love the Komoot app for helping me find a route that was largely unpaved, quiet and most importantly today, shady. Love from Leichlingen. Nice Airbnb too.
We got a new indoor bike and this is by far my favorite function!! I did Bangkok a few days ago and was in London tonight.
Everything was perfect for this ride. Hardly any headwind for the first part, a fresh breeze in my back coming in from the ocean for the second half, to make it not so hot for the better part of my ride. A couple of guys that wanted to race me which I never do but this time I engaged and it was fun and made me go a lot faster that I normally do. And 209 km / 130 miles which is the furthest I’ve rode this year and I feel fit and strong. Great day!
Lots of ups and downs, both in the relief and my mood. Glad I made it home. Sun had no mercy.

I am grateful the sky was covered today and even some rain drops came down. Not that I really felt them.
I am grateful my friend called me on my ride. Unfortunately she called when I was going uphill and very busy with breathing and pedalling. But she talked a lot 
I am grateful I didn’t have to yell at cars today. I sometimes have the feeling that a car will be my cause of death.
