Ugh! Venting

Coming off another bender. I have been drinking heavily since last Friday. My KC chiefs lost a heartbreaking game Sunday. So I got hammered. I have spent the last two chugging I mean chugging vodka. Browsing the internet for women calling sex lines. Texting escorts even though I won’t go see them because I have a girl. I want to really bad. I a mess sick can’t sleep. All I can think of is alcohol and wanting to go see this fine ass thick escort

Decide to be better, and then be better. Better is not getting having your identity defined by an organized game, that you aren’t even playing. Better is not giving mental energy to women who only want your money, when you have someone who genuinely cares for you.

If something is important, we will find a way. If it is not, we will find an excuse. Is sobriety important to you?

Decide to be better, and then be better. Keep getting better at getting better each and every day.

Sounds like you’re stuck on recieving instant gratification, a game I know so well.

I’d suggest finding a simple pleasure that won’t cost you your life, health or money.

Take a stroll with the lady at a park? Shoot some hoops? Wittle pieces wood into some shape or design? Clean the pad/organize your area?

What do you enjoy doing that doesn’t involve getting smashed? I find a lot more joy in doing things for others than I used too, a smile and praise from my wife, kids or mom is one hell of a tremendous reward these days.

AA and IOP therapy helped me put a lot of life things into perspective and maybe they could help you too.

I like to be outside, fishing going to the lake. But I’m in Kansas in January. It sucks

BIG Chief’s fan here. But I don’t invest my happiness in a game. The first step to Sobriety is not having those things that cause us to falter around. Hard to do. VERY hard. But it can be done.
