I am having difficulty moving through the community part of this app. I have figured out how to create a comment but it is impossible to comment on other topics. I am considering deleting the app 🤔.

Hi there! The app can be a bit tricky to navigate at first glance but if ur trying to comment on someones post, there will be an arrow at the bottom of their comment. Click that and then u can respond to that particular person.

@October So the arrow thats underneath my message is to reply to me specifically. If u press the reply button at the bottom of the page like u see here, thats to reply to the thread in general (and not to any specific person) 🙂

Hey Karen,
It took me awhile to learn how to navigate the app. Still learning. There’s always someone around to help you out. Just ask. Ask anything at all. We were all new once. Learning how to be sober and learning a new app can be challenging.

Just push that little arrow down the message you want to reply to and type into the typing space that pops up.

You haven’t done the discobot tutorial yet. I can tell from the badges you recieved and that’s not one of them. Go to your inbox and locate that message from discobot and go thru the tutorial. If you can’t find that message, you can reply here with the following and you’ll get a new private message.
@discobot start tutorial
Edit… i just received the greetings message in my inbox because I typed the above. I’ve been here for about 5 years so it was funny to see that message again after so long.
Once you get familiar with the basics, try the advanced tutorial. Type the following and you’ll get a new PM .

As Lisa suggested above, go ahead and type…(type the @ and select discobot)
@discobot start tutorial
Then look for a green envelope private message indicator in the upper right of your app or program. The PM will have some helpful links on how the forum works.
Similarly, check the various drop down sections Robin has compiled in this link…
