Weightloss CHECK IN : dont give up 2

2025 progress in one chart. 213lbs down to 185lbs. I’ve probably mentioned before, but to recap:

January 2025 tried to quit drinking after a year+ tapering down and waffled over 8 resets until July.

July 2025 was my last drink and withdrawal.

Consistent exercise since the April time frame coupled with healthier food choices all year (have a goal to continue reducing bad and total cholesterol levels and raise HDL). Steered away from added sugars whenever possible. Zero sugar no caffeine sodas are a huge hit with me. Not in ketosis and not trying to be, I’m ok with total sugars just not added sugars. Salads daily regardless of whatever else, no dressing or a dash of olive oil.

Supplements were also important and still adjusting what I take and when as more time passes. I needed vitamin B and magnesium more often early on but tapered those to a couple times a week or as desired. I take omega 3 and a multi vitamin every other day or as desired also.

I don’t fret small gains back anymore, I’ve accepted that’s my body balancing itself with needed muscle and fat stores doing their thing adjusting to the dust being blown off them.

Managed to get 4 workouts in since Sunday. This may not sound like much but I have managed to loose, and also not regain 3lbs since Dec 14th. So I started thinking, if I can loose, and keep off, 3lbs a month, for the next 12 months that will be a 36lb weight-loss. Honestly I feel like that is an achievable goal, and also very low pressure.

I really think my ‘because it’s Christmas’ attitude, which I’ve had for the last 6 weeks, will catch up with me on Monday at my weigh-in. Camembert and fresh bread are so delicious. Also, we’ve counted up, and I’ve consumed 60 mince pies (that she knows about) since November. My theory is, well… I might as well see the weekend out . In my defense, I have walked over 650 miles in November and December. I am looking forward to the reset, though. :slightly_smiling_face:

I really need to get my steps in, winter makes that difficult. I don’t have much urge to be out side in single digits.

I forgot to weigh in last week :upside_down_face:.
And I think I will have to wait until later in the week as I made this today. I dont think it appears in any of the slimming world books…but it is nice.

I gained a pound or two just looking at that. It should come with a trigger warning, lol. Bread is an absolute favorite of mine!

5 (of 18) pounds down. I didn’t like them anyway.

I’ve lost 20 pounds and a lot of inches (I don’t keep track of that, although I should) within these 4 months of sobriety! Finally feeling good in my own skin again! Went from 175lb to now 155lb! I’d love to get down to 135!

I’m joining the club. Over the years I’ve slowly gained weight and right now I am a bit overweight. I feel like it and BMI is telling the same thing.

I started intermittent fasting this week. I am starting gently, just following the eating window (14:10) without calorie counting at this point. I’ll do that later. Now I just want to pay more attention to my eating habits.

My current weight is 77.9 kg and have no idea what my ideal weight is in this point of life. Clothes will tell.
