I’ve been having weird dreams lately and I’d love to hear others!
Last night I dreamt my mom had a cyber truck and I had to drive it. It didnt have pedals like a normal car. It had three buttons flush on the floor with no way to differentiate between them, wasn’t a manual either idk what the third one was for. Since it was snowy my feet kept slipping and hitting the wrong button/pedal. And the brakes were shit so I kept sliding around on the snow and ice. I crashed into a building and started driving up it?! And worse yet a bunch of teenagers were filming. I finally got it to stop moving by throwing it in park.
Love this thread! I actually thought of starting one myself, since I’m sober I had some hilarious dreams.
I shared this one before:
I dreamt I woke up in the middle of the night to knocking on the door. Went downstairs and there stood Chris Martin (the guy from Coldplay) and asked if he can crash on my sofa. I said “yeah sure” and went back to bed.
When I woke up next morning I was really confused and had to check the sofa. No Chris Martin… but was it really a dream, or did he leave before I woke up?
Guess we’ll never know
I had a dream the other night Johnny Depp and I were hanging out talking about 21 Jump Street, he looked the same as he did in that show in my dream. Very weird. Lol.
This used to come often when I was a teen. My Dad remarried and his wife Barbara I could not stand.
Anyway, in my dream I’d be floating about 6 or so feet off the ground and see her standing there yelling at me to come down. I’d drop down enough to kick her in the head and then float back up. Weird as shit, I know. I stopped having that dream after my Dad died in 1992 (alcoholic with cancer).
Post rehab drinking dreams I had, but don’t really remember much detail.
I have really vivid dreams when I nap. Very often food related. I’ll be cooking up some crazy concoction I’d never think of irl. Then I’ll wake up hungry and bummed I don’t have the ingredients to make my dream food The last thing my daughter said to me in my nap dream yesterday was, “Mommy, it’s time to make lunch”, and I woke up starving at noon on the dot! She wasn’t even home. I made pierogies
Last night I dreamt that someone broke into my house and stole all my left shoes but didn’t take the right shoes. It was very vivid and I felt compelled to go check that all my left shoes were safely beside my right ones. Possible theories of who would steal only left shoes? Pirate or possibly a Monopod?
I did dream the other day that I was out with my London group of close friends and we got quite drunk (as usual ), fast forward and I had lost my right shoe and couldn’t remember my address when the rideshare driver asked… Quite happy when I woke up and realized it was all a dream!
Been a while since i’ve dreamed or at least a while since I remember what I did dream about. I am now starting to see these very vivid dreams and at times remember what it is that I dreamt about at the moment I awake. Unfortunately I don’t remember them much afterwards (and never do I write em down even with a book on my nightstand for this very purpose).The dreams are very realistic and just an extension of my awake life so many times i do get some Deja Vu moments and wonder if it is from a dream
