I own an herb farm and herbal tea company. I praise all the benefits of herbal medicine and wellness, while I was chugging vodka from a bottle hidden in the toilet tank at work.
Cruising towards 90 days sober!
Funny you ask that because… one of if not the main reason I got off methadone for pain is I bought a pre established high volume reaturant in the city. My hisband has been there for many many years. I am excited but nervous. Im afraid Iwont get my pain under control. Its all very overwhelming to think of. We take over june 17 and this is only day 4 clean.

Currently unemployed, but was a software developer and IT project manager for large insurance companies. Dream jobs I wished for: pilot, visual effects, forensic investigator, inventor!
Thats really great and so important these days! I don’t talk about it much but our son was diagnosed on the autistic spectrum when he as 4yo - nothing specific but at 21 now seems to have mild asperger’s syndrome. He is amazing, has many friends, and is doing pretty well in college - on the nerdy/geeky/awkward side. Now he wants to work with children to help them too!

I was a sous chef at a casino steakhouse but now I work at a pet store much more relaxed. Currently starting school in fall to be a certified addictions counselor
Master electrician, I’ve been in the trade for 18 years, became an apprentice right out of high school. Should’ve gone to college.

Respiratory Therapist. Take care of people on life support and with breathing difficulties. Lots of pressure and a high intensity job. I love what I do but I think the high demands have only aided in my self loathing and drinking problems.

I’m on workmens comp for my ankles from helping wit the mental disable
Medical assistant for the last 6 years, hopefully going back this fall to start the process of becoming a nurse!
NHA Certified in both Phlebotomist & EKG specialist. I also have an Instructors Degree in Cosmetology.
