I saw them live in 1987 during their Joshua Tree tour. They did put on an awesome show, I must say. This was before Bono got so preachy.

This is Odyssey for me, with memories of going to club (or disco as we called it then) Zorba the Buddha with my bestie back in the 80ā€™s. He liked disco and I liked punk and ska and reggea, and we went to all this different parties and clubs and concerts together. Pretty good memories from back then. Thanks for bringing them up in me :people_hugging: This club was owned by the Bhagwan or Osho btw, very clean and very light and white, unique style in those years.

My Spin Instructor David has exceptional taste in music (Alison Williams, Odyssey, Gladys, Aretha, Whitney, Dusty for example) and we do spin class to whatever music he fancies playing each class. Iā€™m really getting a music experience as well as getting exceptionally fit.

I absolutely love Odyssey and wasnā€™t aware how many I know. What a groovy cool band :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

He also plays Boyz II Men :rofl:

Spinning instructors with taste in music are rare and must be treasured. I was lucky to have two, Amber and Robert. Amber gave me this song by and a love for Fink.

Lovely. Looks like Fink have a new 2025 record out so Iā€™ll be listening :heart:.

Iā€™m also enjoying Dermot Kennedy and some country hybrid. Country music is getting super popular in London now, but I only like the fringe country.

Otherwise I tend towards indie/folk/alternative and global beats. I also like Reggaeton.

I do think thereā€™s still a lot of quality music made these days. So much crap too. And I sure like some of the alt-country, americana noir, bluegrass whatever itā€™s called. Real music is real music. I could share 100ā€™s of songs. I might :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
