I don’t feel any different to when I was in my 20s but my knees when I wake up in the morning are abit more unflexable I will admit lol its a little stagger for 30 seconds walking to the kettle to put on my morning coffee apart from that, mentally I still feel young
I just gained more anxiety and depression lol everything else works fine
Cannibal corpse, seether, megadeth, metallica, system of a down. I guess not much has changed over the years LOL
Tip of the iceberg, but I probably still remember every word of these albums. (Hey, remember albums?)
Dookie was the first I ever bought at the same time I got my own little stereo instead my big bros’ hand-me-downs. Rocking out ensued.
My Mom got me the Smash album on cassette one year for Christmas at my request. I remember the first time I heard Bad Habit she was driving me to school. I can still picture her face when she heard the lyrics at the end hahaha
Yeah. I listened to a certain Sublime album or two a lot, too, but didn’t seem a good place to post it.
Boy, if that isn’t the future already in progress, I dunno what is.
I remember listening to the Smash cassette over & over. My high school “sweetheart” that I dated for many years got mad one day when I was listening to it and he threw it out the window lol
Okay, I’ll bite. Why’d you throw it out the window?
Ha. He’s the one who threw it out the window. He had a bit of an anger management issue. The type that would break his controller in half if he was frustrated at a video game
Ahhh, hahahaha, I missed “he.” Yikes!
I added the “he” in for clarification after your post
I bought my son a cd one Christmas when he was still in middle school, I can’t think of the band rn but when he played it I probably had the same look as your mom!
I took it back to the store lol.
Hahaha I’m suprised my mother didn’t. She had already done that with movies I rented at blockbuster
That’s cool. I was expecting heavier but that was an awesome version. Great drums.
That was great too
Definitely a product of the 90s.
I think I owned all those albums at some point minus the Alanis one just couldn’t get into her.
You guys mentioned cassettes I remember my first cassette being And Justice for all by Metallica
My first CD GNR Appetite,
My parents hated my taste in music, but at least they picked memorable firsts.
Such a youngin’…first cassettes… Twisted Sister “Stay Hungry”, Scorpions “Love at First Sting.” Same… parents hated my music but always supported it, and bought me lots of head phones.
Grand Funk and The Carpenters
Was it '73??
You were close, 1970.
