My walkman still works got lots of tapes
I hope he wasn’t a dentist. Those things got tetanus written all over them.
Don’t know if this oldest, it’s a mid 80’s Yamaha SE-350. This was my first guitar, I got it on my 12th birthday in 1990. It was originally pearl white but when I was 16 I sanded it down to the wood. I was going to paint it but never got around to it.
Honestly, I don’t really play it anymore, it needs new frets and the electronics need re-soldering. I just can’t seem to let it go.
@Chiron and @Ray_M_C_Laren Love that you still have a working walkman (cassette and cd)
@HoofHearted beautiful guitar Dan - i do like the wood look — maybe a little restoration and it could make a come back
@Louloubelle OMG i’m in love Louise
@acromouse I do love the antique pieces - you’ve kept it in great condition.
Probably my grandpas dog tags from WWII
The oldest thing we all have is…time
Thanks Jasmine. I love it too. It’s currently hiding in my bedroom until the kids can be trusted around it X
@Jwfletcher4792 WOW
@Monkey so true.
@Button83 That is super awesome looking - does it still work?
@Louloubelle LOL - i totally get that.
@violagirl AAh love it and now your name makes sense too BTW - love your sunflower / bee pic
This an antique Chinese hardwood chair with original inlay, my granddad bought two when he visited China for business in the 1920’s
With an excellent record displayed on it!
I think without a doubt that would have to be…My name
Me. definitely me and my old busted up body
I got this for the wife a few weeks ago. The lady I bought it off had it in the family a little over 40 years. So this is now the oldest thing we own
Oh that’s beautiful …I bet your wife loves it!
A hope chest (an actual chest) from 1860’s. It was made for a bride who married into our family line and it’s been passed down as a keep sake ever since.
