The first time I heard Amazing by Aerosmith after getting sober I stopped in my tracks with chills. I never knew it was about recovery, I didn’t understand. Now it was so clear. I love to listen to that song over and over.

This is my personal recovery anthem…someone on here recommended it and I’m sorry I can’t remember who it was, but I have listened to this song everyday since. It reminds me of who I was while drinking and that I don’t want live that way anymore.

For the Tool Song, I grew up knowing Danny Carey in Kansas. I remember when a van he was driving was broadsided in KC area. His Dad was making a set of golf clubs for a poor minister’s kid (me).
