Defensive- a series of protocols and reminders to prevent or minimize relapse.
Long term infrastructure- engaging in addiction communities and using therapy and AI to understand and manage psycological issues and impulses that cause obsessive and repetative behaviour/disorder. Getting to the heart of the issue to build the personal habitual infrastructure needed to tackle PMO addiction for good.
Protocols and reminders:
Break Glass- a set of instructions on what to do in the event of a crisis.
Golden Rules- sets out non negotiable rules and conduct so I remain on the path to recovery and can’t sneak around the system. Any infraction is penalised with a streak reset.
Reasons- thoughts that a wrote down just after my most recent relapse. I find that the more I am in a streak the more I forget about why I’m doing it. Reading this puts me right back in the moment of relapse and jump starts my brain to continue sobrierty.
I admit that it is unproven in the field long term and real world results may be unsuccessful. However, I believe this has the best chance of success compared to any other plan I have available to me so far.
