I’ve only vaguely heard of it. We moved when I was very young, but we’d visit often as both families were still around there. Still have family in the New Brinsly area.

Fun fact, we have one of the oldest street fairs in Europe!! It covers the whole of the town centre, and has some pretty big rides for such a small place.
It’s been held every year since 1252 until it was stopped due to the corona virus last year. Hopefully it’ll be back next year… going to the fair with your mates for the first time (instead of with parents) is a rite of passage here
