Drove to Wales once from London on my honeymoon 100 years ago. And I love Scotland too.

I had the best fish and chips in the world on the Island of Mull. Sitting at a pub on the water.

Born in Amsterdam West, Grew up in Amsterdam Zuid, Lived for a while in Amsterdam Zuidoost, My first own place was in West again, been living in Amsterdam Oost for the last 22 years now. Where I live the Amstel brewery stood. This picture is from 1985 when it was torn down.

Hertfordshire, England. Think most people in GB think of Herts as the least interesting county but it has its charms, and at least we are a tiny country so it doesn’t take long to visit more interesting places :rofl:

Haha brilliant! I had to Google and it looked beautiful. Made me laugh that it made the Daily Mail that Rutland was getting a McDonald’s. Must be very classy to have resisted that long. You can see Starbucks in the Tudor building above, can’t move for branded coffee shops and fast food in Herts :grin:

That is a lovely place, and yes should imagine it sold well. We are totally priced out of the market here so are renting until the kids are adults. Them we can go find other beautiful parts of the UK
